Consultation has concluded
Background
The Municipality has received an application from the owner of Boulangerie La Vendéenne bakery (500 Highway 325, Blockhouse) requesting an amendment to the Blockhouse Land Use Bylaw (LUB) to permit the addition of an ice cream shack to the property. Currently, there is a development agreement that permits the site to be used as a bakery with the last amendment occurring in 2020.
Proposed Changes
The applicant has requested an amendment to the Blockhouse LUB to add the property to Schedule “B” allowing for the expansion of ‘food related’ uses in the future by site plan. This amendment would enable the construction of a proposed 12-foot by 16-foot ice cream shack on the property as well as other food-related uses in the future without the need for additional Land Use Bylaw amendments.
