Key Dates

A public information session on this matter will be held on January 26th, 2023 from 6-8PM at the Blockhouse Fire Hall (510 Highway 325, Blockhouse). Interested members of the public are encouraged to attend to learn more about the proposed amendment and ask questions.

The Blockhouse Area Advisory Committee will meet on February 8th, 2023, from 7-9PM at the Blockhouse Fire Hall to discuss Boulangerie La Vendéenne bakery's amendment application. The public is welcome to attend to learn more about the proposed amendment and ask questions.

The Planning Advisory Committee will meet on February 23rd, 2023, from 7-9PM at the Municipal Office in Cookville to discuss several matters including the Boulangerie La Vendéenne Land Use Bylaw amendment application. Members of the public are encouraged to attend.

A Public Hearing will be held on April 11th, 2023, at 8:30AM in Council Chambers at the District of Lunenburg Municipal Office (10 Allée Champlain Drive, Cookville) to allow members of the public to provide comment on the Land Use Bylaw Amendment application of Boulangerie La Vendéenne bakery. Once all questions and comments have been heard, Council may decide to conduct Second Reading.
