Council Passes Cluster Development Regulations

On Tuesday, May 13, 2025, Council passed Second Reading of amendments to the Municipal Planning Strategy and the Municipal-Wide Land Use By-law to include Cluster Development regulations.

Next steps:

• The revised documents will be forwarded to the Department of Municipal Affairs for review.

• Once confirmed to be consistent with provincial interests, a Notice of Approval will be published in the local newspaper.

• The date the Notice appears in the newspaper will be the effective date of the new regulations.
