The project aims to revise the land use by-law through rezoning, transitioning from rural (RU) and General Commercial (GC) to High Density Residential (HDR). Discussions with the development team and staff explore mixed-use development by introducing commercial usage on the ground floors of multi-unit structures, enhancing sustainability, density and potentially becoming a notable community destination. This strategic adjustment requires amending the Village of Hebbville Secondary Planning Strategy and Land Use By-Law.
