Consultation has concluded

Sawpit Wharf Park is a key community space, providing a waterfront with a floating wharf, boat launch, parking area, day use area, green space, and more. It's located at 28 Back Harbour Road, in the community of Garden Lots. In 2007, a concept plan was developed that envisioned new features such as walking trails, an expanded parking area, and other new facilities. Under the guidance of the Sawpit Wharf Advisory Committee, some of these facilities have since been incorporated.

The Municipality of the District of Lunenburg and the Sawpit Wharf Advisory Committee are now undertaking a new vision for Sawpit Wharf Park–one that will be guided by input from the community–and you’re invited to help shape the future of this important public space.
